Dr Brendan Belsham
Dr Belsham has been in private practice as a child and adolescent psychiatrist in Johannesburg for the past 20 years. He has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals. He has presented at local and international scientific meetings, educational groups, churches and schools. He has appeared on television, spoken on radio and written for magazines. His book What’s the fuss about ADHD? explores the controversies surrounding ADHD. He has recently co-authored the South African guidelines for the management of ADHD. His special interests include early parenting, childhood anxiety, mother-child attachment and ADHD. Dr Belsham is married and has 4 children
