Dr Nerica Ramsundhar
Dr Ramsundhar is a developmental paediatrician practising at St Augustine’s Hospital in Durban. She has undergone training under the guidelines of neurodevelopmental paediatricians and paediatric neurologists at Red Cross War Memorial Hospital, Cape Town. She was the first clinically trained and HPCSA-certified developmental paediatrician in Kwazulu-Natal. Developmental paediatrics is a sub-speciality that focuses on conditions that impact on a child’s developmental trajectory and behaviour. She is affiliated to the International Child Neurology Association (ICNA), Paediatric Neurology and Development Association of South Africa (PANDA), South African Medico-Legal Association (SAMLA) and is a former executive member of the KZN Cerebral Palsy Association. She has a keen interest in ADHD and Autism. Her practice focuses on individualised care with a trans-disciplinary approach ensuring comprehensive management. She also runs an ADOS clinic monthly assisted by a clinical psychologist.
