Ms Emma Wijnberg

Emma is an Occupational Therapist, wife and mother to two busy barefoot boys. She is passionate about discovering and developing an understanding for individual abilities, making little lives easier, and empowering parents to raise hero’s. Emma is Sensory Integration and DIR Floortime trained and runs a busy paediatric practice in the KZN Midlands. Emma also regularly presents workshops for parents and professionals on various topics pertaining to early intervention, neurodiversity, play and sensory processing. Emma serves on the board for the South African Institute for Sensory Integration, and represents them here today as she discusses transitions through pre primary to primary school for children with ADHD, focusing on sensory and developmental challenges and opportunities.
